Nancy---Brien---Diane
Brien: The great thing about being an artist is that you never stop learning and enjoying. I get to do something I love and share it with those who are interested. As an artist you see the world though the eyes of an artist, noticing colors, shapes, and compositions that were missed before. As an artist I am self taught. I am originaly from N.J. and have lived in FLA.,and KY. I now reside in N.C. with my wife Diane who without her support and encouragement this site and my artwork would not be possible. I thank you for taking the time to look at our site and hope you are enjoying it.Diane: I am originally from Totowa, NJ and have lived in NC since 1975. I am married to my very talented husband, Brien, who without his love and encouragement I would never have picked up a paint brush. I am the proud mother of my son, Matthew, who is a police detective in Maryland, his lovely wife LeeAnn and my two beautiful granddaughters, Emily and Carly. I dedicate my art to my Pop, Andy Soboslay, who is the best Dad in the world and I sign my paintings "Priscilla" in honor of my mother who passed away in 1996. I have painted in all mediums, but prefer to paint in oil. My first painting, which was a watercolor, won second place at the Fair. All my paintings come from my imagination, but I seem to have a tendency to paint scenery that shows the beauty, peace and tranquility of God's creations. I am currently finding that I also enjoy photography.
